Last week, one of our junior fighters, Summer Kaur, travelled to Hungary to represent GB at the WAKO Junior European Championships. WAKO is the largest kickboxing organisation worldwide so we were all really excited that Summer got selected to compete this year.
The competition was extremely tough, with some of the best fighters in Europe competing alongside Summer. Although Summer did not return home with any medals this time, we are all extremely proud of her. She put in some serious hours training in the months leading up and gave it her all but was unfortunately unlucky on the day, losing to the current World and European champion for her weight division. Well done Summer – looking sick in your GB kit!!
